The University of Arkansas Little Rock’s B.S. in Cybersecurity delivers a robust, ABET-accredited education tailored to real-world defense operations. Designated as an NSA/DHS Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD), the program blends deep theoretical knowledge in computer science with practical expertise in fields such as digital forensics, applied cryptography, incident response, and software security.

Students gain hands-on experience in the Trojan Cyber Arena, a secure cloud-based lab environment that mirrors enterprise-grade cyber operations, while learning from industry-seasoned faculty. The degree plan includes foundational computing classes—like programming, algorithms, OS, and architecture—plus intensive cybersecurity coursework including access control, network security, risk management, privacy and policy, and a capstone project.

UA Little Rock prioritizes student success through small class settings, flexible delivery options (in-person and online), and immersive opportunities such as internships, community outreach (Cyber Gym), and participation in cyber competitions.
